After studying business administration, Volker Harms worked at the Allgemeine Kreditversicherung Coface AG (a credit insurance company) in Mainz. In 1993, he joined his father’s company becoming commercial executive at MOBA Dresden. In 1994, he took the role of CEO of MOBA Data GmbH. In 1999, Volker established MOBA Corporation in the US. In 2004, he took over the management of MOBA Mobile Automation AG from his father Paul Harms.
Holding a doctoral degree in industrial engineering, Dr. Barthel had been head of corporate logistics, production planning and control at the Fraunhofer Institute for manufacturing engineering and automation IPA, in Stuttgart. Previously, he worked at Robert Bosch GmbH. Dr. Barthel has been MOBA’s vice president for production and logistics.
